Friday Finds: Cookbook and Garage Sales

Today is the first day that I am selling a cookbook in remembrance of my mom.  

My mom LOVED to bake and cook.   So this cookbook is a collection of recipes that she used.  the title of the book is "Sheila Love".  My mom's name is Sheila and she showed and gave everyone unconditional love.  She gave Sheila Love.  And I think that is what she would want us to continue showing everyone Sheila Love.  All the proceeds of the cookbook will go to the American Cancer Society.  If you are interested in purchasing a cookbook please let me know.  They are selling at $10.00 a book.  You can email me at bshelvey@gmail.com

Today I went garage sale hopping a bit.  My sister in-law's neighborhood had a neighborhood sale going on.  There is something about being able to go through other people's junk and find something that you can use or repurpose.  I am excited to go back tomorrow when more people will be open for business.
My finds today:  A Leap Frog Leap Pad with 3 books for my son - $3.50
                          A collage picture frame that matches my other picture frames - $2.00

I obviously didn't go too crazy, but it was fun!
