Recycle

Who would have ever thought that recycling would make me a little happier.  When I get to throw something in the recycling bins I feel a little better about my day.  As a family of 5, we can generate a lot of trash.  But with recycling, we have reduced the number of trash bags that go out to the curb on trash day.
I know that recycling is not a new concept, but some areas of the country are not as into it as others.  Where we live now, recycling is easily accessible.  I can do easy.
Flatirons.  Boulder, CO
One of the places we love to eat is Noodles & Company.  We discovered this fan- tabulous place when we lived in Boulder, Colorado.  Noodles' headquarters was not too far from our little apartment.  I would venture to say, we would eat there at least once a week when we were D.I.N.Ks. (Double Income No Kids).  Just the other day we ordered take out and I noticed everything our food came in, including the bag, and utensils was all recyclable!  I think I like Noodles even more now! Of course it was all recyclable.  They are from Boulder.  Where everything is granola and prairie dogs are protected.

Recycling, one of my new loves.

  1. I feel so bad - we haven't recycled since we moved here. I feel like I'm all consuming -it's way too easy to get sucked into the consuming culture when you can afford more stuff. I need to get back to my old ways- they have always rung true to who I am/want to be.

  2. Definitely too easy. We had to buy some recycling containers so that it would be that much easier for us. I love it! ;-)
